Inclinator has been around for more than 100 years! Their origin dates back to 1923. Pennsylvania Cadillac dealer C.C. Crispen visited an ill friend and got the notion to create a movable seat that could transport people up and down stairways. Five years after this visit, Crispen engineered the Elevette®, the first electric home elevator, and the rest is history.
